Lavender is a great asset to any garden. Fragrant and pretty with its slightly paler foliage contrasting with other foliage. It makes a nice hedge or just a statement amongst other plants in a border.
Pruning becomes essential once the bush is more than one year old. A light trim to pick the flowers or just maintain the new regrowth. The bushes become difficult to rejuvenate if they get too big and there is too much brown wood, the plant may die.
